Rom and Matt – I was out of town this weekend, so I just want to let you know how much I appreciate being able to read and hear the sermon from Sunday. What a great message of hope and truth, that I would have missed without your extra, joint effort to share the Good News! Gives “Cheesehead” a whole new meaning. Thank you and Rom for sharing this wonderful blog with all of us. It is a wonderful way to bring us all with you. I cannot tell you the buzz that it has started. Have heard many folks that they are going to try to make the Journey in 2013. Whether or not that happens… you have stirred up something in all of us via the Israel 2011 Tour Blog.

Safe travels home…tomorrow, please give Holly a birthday hug for Holly around 3 pm that is the hour of her birth. I will be thinking of her especially at that time.

Jen beat me to it with her comment regarding Mom’s new purse – “another one?” – just kidding Mom and it sounds like you’re having a wonderful time. I’m thinking Jan should get on the camels – that’d be pretty fun and not so much unlike trying to drive a cement truck sometimes! Anyway, as Jen said, it’s been really neat being able to watch the progress of your tour on this blog. Another one? Ha ha! I am glad she is happy and safe. Thanks for the blog. It has been lots of fun following from here. And tell Jan to stay off of the camels.

On a personal note, I’d like to ask a favor. Mom has told me that sometimes your group goes to the Wailing Wall to leave prayers. I believe you did this for Dad when he was sick? Wondering if I could make a request. A friend and colleague of mine, Peg Shoemaker, lost her 20 year old daughter, Anna, in a car accident today. Anna was also a high school friend of our Zach. I was wondering if you could leave a prayer there for Anna, her mom Peg, her dad Jim, and her brother Andrew. They are a very special family and you can well imagine the kind of pain they are in at this time. Anna will live on through organ donation. If you have a chance, it would mean a lot if you could leave a prayer there for their healing and peace.
