Introduction:

For those of you who've been with us these past few weeks, we've been on a journey together--the journey of a young couple God chose to bear and to raise Jesus, his own Son. And tonight, we come to the part of the story where we'll be celebrating what took place around Jesus' birth.

If you've ever seen or been a part of a Christmas drama, you know all the parts it takes to pull that off! Well, tonight we're going to look at a couple of the players in this story ... and what their part of the story really means, regarding the birth of our Savior--Christ the Lord.

But, what part are we to play in the Christmas story? Now, there's a good question for this evening. We hope to answer that question before our time together is done today.
