Introduction:

Today, we come to the end of the journey we've been on together all season--The Journey to Jerusalem. We've been following Jesus since his journey began ... from way up in the north ... all the way to Jerusalem ... and the culmination of his life at the cross. But ... was that really the end?

This is Easter morning ... and Easter morning--for those who follow Christ--is all about HOPE. Where do you look for HOPE in your life? Would you go to a cemetery? That's exactly what the women did in today's Bible story. I'm not exactly sure they went there to find HOPE ... but that's what they came away with! And that's our prayer for all of you today--that you will go away from today's worship celebration ... with HOPE. That's what Jesus would want for you ... and that's what we want for you, too!
