Introduction:

What a glorious day to come into this place ... to put God first in our lives once again ... and to thank God for absolutely everything--including our very lives! ... O.K., maybe that's not the way you felt when you walked in here this morning. But, that's the attitude we should have when we come into this place to worship God!

On that note, do you take the time to thank God regularly for all the blessings of your life? Even if we're currently going through challenging times, we can always think of others who are worse off than we are. Are we thankful enough that "˜gratitude' shows even in our worship of God? Is that what the world sees in us?

Today, we're going to be talking more about the importance of worship. And specifically, today, we're going to be talking about what God's word tells us about "˜attitude' and how important that is to our life with God.
