Introduction:

This morning, we are continuing with the "Fan or Follower" sermon series, focusing on defining our relationship with Jesus. How do we understand something as huge as having a relationship with Jesus, when many of us struggle with our relationships with our family, friends and neighbors? And our God is not just one god, but the triune God of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is a very good thing that God is the Lord of this relationship, not us, or we all know what a mess we would make of it.
