Introduction:Today, we begin a 2-part worship series on "10 BIG THINGS"--10 big things that Jesus said, that is, that we all too often forget! Why is it important that we remember what Jesus said ... and put it into practice? I'm glad you asked... Jesus himself said (Luke 6:46), "So why do you keep calling me "˜Lord, Lord!' when you don't do what I say?" Apparently, what Jesus has said to us ... is important to Jesus; it's really a matter of whether Jesus is actually Lord of our lives ... or we're just paying him lip service! So, what is it that Jesus said ...and we too often forget? We're going to start getting into that today. |
