Is Forgiveness Really Forever? |
.Sunday, May 11, 2014 | By Rom A. Pegram |
Introduction:![]() We continue in our series that we launched on Easter morning on the topic of FORGIVENESS. So far, we've talked about God forgiving us, forgiving ourselves, and forgiving others. Now, this week, we're going to do our best to answer a question that many have asked: "Does forgiveness really last forever" ... or do I have to be concerned as I close in on my final days here on this earth? Now, that may be getting right to the point, but it's an honest question. From a human standpoint, forgiveness is not eternal because we're finite beings; so, it's not that forgiveness we're concerned about. It's God's forgiveness that we're back to talking about here. Does God's forgiveness cover me forever? Would you like to know? For sure? |
