Today, we’re at the half-way mark in our current worship series called “Christian”. And today, we’re going to turn a corner just a bit…

Have you ever wondered—trying to figure out just who Jesus is—why he is so forgiving sometimes … and so hard on people at other times? At times he’s harsh, at times he’s kind, at times he points out sin, and at times it’s like he ignores sin altogether. In this way, Jesus is kind of hard to figure out. You might say, with Jesus, there is a ‘tension’ that’s always present with him. Today, we’re going to talk about that tension … and how scripture defines that tension … and how that tension translates to our lives.
