Introduction:

As we continue in our new worship series, “GRACE ALONE: Hope for the Hopeless”, we shift to talk about the partner of God’s GRACE in our lives—the LAW. If you remember Jesus’ words from Matthew 5:17, he said “Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose”—to fulfill the LAW, not to remove it!

So, what is this flip side of the GRACE coin … and why is it necessary? And do we really even have to deal with the LAW if all we want is God’s GRACE? Our prayer is that you will have these questions and more answered, starting today … as we’re reminded of not only the purpose of the LAW, but God’s purpose in his gift of Jesus as well…
