Introduction:

As we begin our time of worship today, let me ask you a very personal question: Do any of you have a stubborn streak? When you make up your mind about something, is it hard for anyone to change your mind after that? Is that your reputation? If so, I just want you to know that today … you’re in good company!

Why would I say that? Because Jesus was the same way, at least when it came to doing his Father’s will … and that’s where our Season of Lent is headed this year—taking a look at a time when Jesus made up his mind about something … and it changed his life … and it changed our lives … and it changed the world!
