Introduction:

As we continue to journey with Jesus from Galilee, where he ‘set his face to Jerusalem’—determined to do God’s will, we are now deep in the heart of that city. And we’re about to experience the key events of that first Holy Thursday. Jesus was facing a few ‘lasts’ in his life, which are very hard to go through—you know, the last time you see family & friends, the last time you eat a meal together, the last time you give out hugs to those you love, etc. Today, we’re going to walk through those key events & focus on who Jesus really was at this time. We’re not to the cross yet. We’re still on the way, experiencing what Jesus experienced during this final week.
