Have you ever found yourself running a little bit ahead of God? You know what I mean--something very important is going on in your life; you know you should be praying about it--asking for God's guidance. But, you really, really want whatever it is ... to turn out the way you want it to ... so you just go ahead and do your thing anyway. Then, you ask God to bless it...

That scenario is not just found in our lives today. The disciples found themselves in the same situation, even when Jesus was with them ... in the flesh! Today, we're going to look at this reality in our lives. What do we do ... when we get ahead of God, get ourselves into a pickle, and then cry out to God to throw us "˜a life preserver?' The Apostle John is going to help us with that today...
