Introduction:

Today is the last day in our Plan B worship series. And today, we turn a corner--a corner that may be difficult for some to turn. Frankly, today's message will be about the reality of what God has done for us ... and what we've done to him! It's about the cross. And as we move into the season of Lent, this seems a good transition to that season which is all about the cross. However...

"¢ It's not about the cross we have hanging in our churches or setting on our Communion tables...
"¢ And it's not about the cross we hang around our necks ... in gold and in silver...

It's about that agonizing event that shook our world! I know that cross has a lot to do with Easter, but what does it have to do with our Plan Bs in life? That's what we're going to be talking about today...

And do yourself a favor, would you? Don't immediately shut down to what God wants to reveal to you today. Stay open to what God wants to speak to your heart!
