Introduction:

Last week, we turned a corner in our Fall Worship Series--"Fan or Follower?" We transitioned from learning definitions of both of those words ... to learning how to move from one to the other--from Fan to Follower of Jesus. And today we continue along those lines, so let's begin here...

Most of us know the Easter Story. We know how important the CROSS is to the story of Jesus and what he had to accomplish while here on earth. But do we yet know that Jesus wasn't the only one called to "˜take up a cross?' As crazy as it sounds, we've been called BY JESUS to do the very same thing! And Jesus basically told us that ... if we want to be a FOLLOWER of his, that's what we must do! But, what does that mean? That's where we're going today...
