Introduction:

Today, as we finish up our Fall Worship Series--"Fan or Follower," be thinking of all we've learned this fall. We learned what it means to be a FAN ... and what it means to be a FOLLOWER. We also discovered that most of us--if we're honest--are FANS, or we've been there before. That discovery is the first step toward being a FOLLOWER. Then, we need to take that most important step of responding to Jesus' invitation found in Luke 9:23 ... and say "˜YES!'

But, what keeps us from saying "˜YES' in our lives? That's where we're headed today. Three FANS were sure they wanted to follow Jesus ... until they had a talk about it; then, it was a different story... What's it going to be for us? How will we respond?
