Discover God's Involvement in Your Life

Series: Daring to Dream Again (2013)

.Sunday, January 6, 2013 | By David Busker

Introduction:

Which is harder to break--a good habit or a bad one? The answer is that it's a tie. A habit is simply a pattern that's repeated so often it becomes a way of life. That could be good, like brushing your teeth every morning; or bad, like cursing whenever something happens you don't like. Just be aware that a good habit is as hard to break as a bad one.

Experts say it takes five or six weeks to form a new habit. So if you do something for fifty days, you'll probably do it on days 51, 52, and so on. Hopefully, we will be daring to dream again in the next few weeks and as a result good things will happen in our spiritual lives.

Are you on the lookout for ways the Lord regularly involves himself in your life? Do you write down your "God Hunt sightings?" Have you learned to sustain your belief in bigger dreams because you see Jesus' goodness to you on a daily basis? This week will help you hone those skills.

Today we are going to talk about David and the ways that he found God in his life.
