Introduction:

Next week, we begin a new worship series called "˜Dare to Be Great,' and it should be a great series! But before that, we need to lay some foundation for that study--realizing once again who God is calling us to be and why we are here doing what we're doing...
Today, we're going to talk about "˜the banners.' (Up front) These are the banners that are a constant reminder of who God is calling us to be and--frankly--why we're here in the first place. Today's message is going to ask the question: "What if...."
"¢ What if ... we were a people who truly loved God (the way God wants us to); what would that look like?
"¢ What if ... we were a people who truly loved one another; what would that look like?
"¢ And what if ... we were a people who lived out our faith every day ... by serving others in God's name?
What would that look like? That's where we're going today. Are you ready?
