Cultivating ContentmentSeries: General |
.Sunday, October 13, 2013 | By Dianne Vielhuber |
Introduction:Today's service focuses on one message on cultivating contentment. We will be exploring a story that Jesus told in Luke's gospel about a very rich man who could not be content with his wealth. Despite being terribly rich, he did not focus on how he could help others. Rather, he became preoccupied with acquiring even more wealth, which became the main focus of his life. In the end, God calls him a fool. He was so busy making a living that he forgot to make a life. |
