Introduction:

For the next several weeks, we're going to be learning--as a congregation--how to live & love just like Jesus did. But, that may not be what you think. The subtitle of our series kind of gives it away. We're actually going to be learning what it means to be a joy-filled giver. Jesus was generous at heart--with his whole life. And he wants us, as his followers, to reflect that same heart. So, today, we're going to begin learning about what that means for our lives...

There's an old saying that goes like this: "The one who dies with the most toys wins!" Then, of course, there are take-offs from that, like ... "The one who dies with the most guitars wins!" and so forth... "˜Cute saying. But, is it true?
