Introduction:

Today, we continue in our series about learning to live & love like Jesus--generous at heart, that is. Specifically, we're going to look at what it means that God is the owner of everything ... and we are God's managers. Now, that may be an easy concept to understand, but how about living that out--putting it into practice?

Let me ask this: Have you ever thought about a house fire--about what would be the "˜one thing' you'd grab on your way out, if that should ever happen? Usually, that "˜one thing' (after the family's safe, of course) is the "˜one thing' you value most in life; if that's what you'd grab first, it means quite a bit to you. But God's word says, (Psalm 24:1) - "The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it." ... Now, how do you feel about that "˜one thing'? We'll be getting into that today...
