Today, we continue on in our relatively new worship series (begun last week) that’s simply called … ‘Christian’…

To get at today’s specific topic, let me begin with this question: Has there ever been anyone in your life that has quit the church? You know, maybe a child or another family member who came to a certain point in their lives (turning 18, for instance) … where they just decided they didn’t need church anymore. Well, it’s obvious by decreasing numbers in all mainline churches that many are deciding they don’t need the church. So, what’s the problem? Now, the easy way to deal with this would be to point our fingers … at this … and at that, but, we’re not going to do that. As painful as it may be, today we’re going to look in the mirror. Has the church itself been a part of the problem? Are you interested to find out?
