Introduction:

Pastor Rom will do a short review of the past seven weeks when we get to the message time, but today we’re going to specifically look at those disciples of Jesus who considered un-following him. Have you ever thought about doing that?

It seems that it’s always in times of transition, or trouble, or temptation that we seem to question our faith … or go through a crisis of faith. And so often, when these times come, our first response is to run—to unfollow Jesus. But is that the wisest response?

Today, we’re going to see how Jesus’ disciples … and the Apostles (those closest to Jesus) … handled these times. What can we learn from them?
