Introduction:

Psalm 29:2 (NLT) says, "Honor the LORD for the glory of his name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness." And that's what we intend to do together! As we get started, let me give you some hints as to where we're headed today...
One question: Have you ever experienced storms in your life? You know ... storms such as unexpected health issues ... or financial problems ... or relational disasters? Difficult times may come in a variety of ways, but one thing's for sure: THE STORMS WILL COME!
O.K., I have one more question for you: As a follower of Jesus Christ, do you know how to prepare for those storms? Do you know how to be ready when they come (and they will come!)? If you're just not sure, that's O.K. Because today, we're going to find out together ... just how to weather ... any storms that come our way...
